Couldn’t have put it better Soundboard. Explosions in The Sky is more of an experience than a band, I feel. And very few bands give me the same peace when I listen to them. It’s like Ritalin and Xanax all in one. Grabs your attention and holds it in one place and calms you down all at once.
There are few things better than lying down in bed with the lights out, headphones on, volume up, listening to Explosions In The Sky.
Believe me, it’s always a pleasure for me to listen to this band. I feel at peace, my problems vanish, and in my mind conjures up beautiful images. When the song is over, all I want to do is to capture those images on the paper. I guess that’s what’s called inspirational music.
I really hope you enjoy this one as much as I do. Have a beautiful 1st of September, especially our Tuesday panel member from Boston (it’s his birthday)!
